Dr James Rudd has been awarded a British Science Association (BSA) Media Fellowship.
The BSA awards up to ten Fellowships annually to active scientists, clinicians, and engineers. Fellows are placed into mainstream media organisations for 2-6 week secondments to give them an opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the media and to improve science communication.
Dr Rudd will work as a science correspondent at The Guardian over the summer, alongside Hannah Devlin and Ian Sample and will also cover the BSA annual meeting for The Guardian in early September. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity and we will add links to these stories as they become available throughout the summer!
