Cardio-metabolic disease is one of the core research themes in the planned Cambridge Heart & Lung Research Institute. To encourage cross-talk between groups doing cardiovascular and metabolic research, we ran a cardio-metabolic research day jointly with Metabolic Strategic Research Network.
This free event took place on Thursday 2 November at St Catharine's College, Cambridge, and attracted 80 delegates. The programme was packed with four themed sessions of talks, a poster session, and two training sessions on communication.
