Clinical Trials and Research

Clinical trials are research studies that help us to understand how to treat a particular disease or condition. Trials explore whether a treatment, medical strategy or device is safe and effective in people.

Please find below a list of some of the current trials you can volunteer for.  Click on link for details.

You will usually be reimbursed for your time and travel.

Intensity-Low

Are you a healthy and aged between 18-45

Studying the effects of lowering LDL (Bad) Cholesterol

Intensity-High

Are you aged 40 or over and suffers from Cardiovascular Disease

DEFINE Study

Are you healthy and aged over 18

AimHY Blood Pressure treatment

Are you aged 18-65 you could take part in a project to find out how treatment for high blood pressure should be personalised.

Lilacs Trail

Are you aged between 18-75 and previously suffered from a heart attack.
