Cambridge Cardiovascular

The theme of the BRC Public Open evening is Setting the stage for health- translational research in infants, children and young people.

We are inviting local researchers to submit short abstracts (maximum of 400 words) for posters showcasing translational or clinical research in infants, children or young people/young adults that aims to understand or improve health across the lifespan.

The poster session will run from 5:10 – 5:50 pm, between the talk sessions. Session one is from 4 pm – 5 pm and session two, with repeated talks from 6 – 7 pm with a new audience.  Researchers that are invited to present posters do not need to book tickets for this event.

Posters submissions can be from individual researchers or teams, and posters that are co-developed/ presented with public contributors are welcome.  Posters should be written for a public audience.

All submissions should provide brief information about the research and the connection with health across the life course. Posters should preferably be either A0 or A1 in size with a Horizontal format (we will provide further details to the selected submissions).

There will be a prize of a £50.00 voucher for the winning poster, as judged by the audience.
