Call for abstracts for poster presentations
We are inviting local researchers to submit short abstracts (maximum of 400 words) for posters showcasing translational or clinical research aimed at preventing disease or earlier diagnosis to be presented at the NIHR BRC: Cambridge Open Event in November
The poster session will run from 5:10 – 5:50 pm, between the talk sessions. Session one is from 4 pm – 5 pm and session two, with repeated talks is from 6 – 7 pm with a new audience. The venue is at the Hexagon, Frank Lee Centre, Addenbrooke's Hospital. Researchers that are invited to present posters do not need to book tickets.
Posters submissions can be from individual researchers or teams, and posters that are co-developed/ presented with public contributors are welcome. Posters should be written for a public audience.
There will be a prize of a £50.00 voucher for the winning poster, as judged by the audience.
All submissions should provide brief information about their research and the connection with health across the life course. Posters should preferably be either A0 or A1 in size in horizontal/landscape format (we will provide further details to the selected submissions).
Researchers or teams wishing to submit an abstract can complete the form
Deadline for submissions: Thursday 22nd October at 5pm
Please note thar poster exhibitors do not need to book a ticket for the event - bookings are for members of the public who wish to attend. We will forward booking links for you to share with members of the public, once available
