EndMT in atherosclerosis: friend or foe?
Abstract
Endothelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EndMT) is increasingly recognised as a feature of atherosclerosis, but its functional consequences remain poorly understood. While often considered pathogenic, our recent research demonstrates that EndMT can promote plaque stability in some contexts. My talk will explore the heterogeneity and context-dependent effects of EndMT.
A light lunch will be provided from 12.30 pm
