Cambridge Cardiovascular

 

Hosted by the Healthcare in Conflict Research Network, with support from the Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH), this one-day conference will bring together perspectives from health, law, policy, defence and media to explore the challenges of researching healthcare in conflict settings.

The programme includes keynote addresses, panel showcases and breakout sessions, with speakers including:

  • Professor Stuart Hogarth, Deputy Director, Centre for Research in the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities (CRASSH)
  • Dr Khalid Hassine, Legal Officer, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights
  • Dr Christos Christou, Outgoing International President of Médecins Sans Frontières
  • Professor Grant Stentiford, Chief Scientist, Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas)
  • Professor Gordon Harold, Co-Director of Cambridge Public Health, University of Cambridge
