IonQ-Cambridge Partnership Funding Opportunities - Town Hall Meeting 

The University of Cambridge and the quantum technology company IonQ recently established a 10-year strategic partnership, which includes the opening of the IonQ Quantum Innovation Centre at the Ray Dolby Centre. The Centre will host a state-of-the-art IonQ 256-qubit quantum computer, which will be the most powerful quantum computer in the UK when it is installed, as well as quantum network nodes between Physics and Engineering integrated into the existing Cambridge Network infrastructure.

In parallel, the Quantum Innovation Centre holds significant funding to support PI-led research projects across the broad sector of quantum technologies, both experimental and theoretical, ranging from quantum computing and communication applications to developing new quantum sensors. The funds will be allocated periodically via publicly announced call rounds for proposals, the first call round to open in June.
