About
My current research focuses on integrating clinical imaging with computational simulations to investigate factors affecting mechanical thrombectomy outcomes in ischemic stroke. Using patient-specific 3D vascular models, I combine CFD and FEA analyses to study how clot mechanics, vessel anatomy and blood flow dynamics interact. The goal is to identify key biomechanical and haemodynamic factors that determine the retrieval success and guide safer, more effective stroke interventions.
