We develop Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) methods to view atherosclerotic plaques. My interests lie in studying the applied biomechanics of atherosclerotic plaques and other cardiovascular pathologies; assessing novel strategies to prevent contrast induced- acute kidney injury and understanding the utility of ischaemic pre- and post-conditioning in patients undergoing open/endovascular vascular surgery procedures.
