Cambridge Cardiovascular

 

The aim of the Rosetrees Translational Award is to catalyse translational research that will provide patient benefit within 5 to 10 years. Funding can be used to cover the additional costs associated with the translation of research. The award is for £150K over 2 years and can be used across a broad spectrum of research including:

  • Novel therapeutics 
  • Drug repurposing
  • Devices
  • Surgical techniques
  • Diagnostics
  • Imaging technologies
  • Digital solutions/App development
  • Cell therapy and regenerative medicine
  • Early-phase clinical studies evaluating feasibility

Candidates must already have a career establishment/ development fellowship from the ERC, UKRI, The Royal Society or Wellcome Trust. Applicants will need to demonstrate that the objectives of their proposal to Rosetrees are unique and distinct to that of their career development fellowship. Projects should have clearly defined milestones and demonstrate progress in the technology readiness level (TRL) of the research.
