Cambridge Enterprise Offering Translational funding and support. Proof of concept funding up to £25,000 for adding value to inventions and new concepts that they are supporting. Larger projects may also be supported at higher amounts.

Cambridge Gravity - Bio-Spark a gateway into industry and start-up formation. It is a fellowship programme that provides internships at Pharma, Biotech or Venture partners.

Cambridge Trust Scholarships for international students on degree courses at Cambridge.

Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations Office (CUDAR) undertakes fundraising for major gifts for academic priorities across the University.

Isaac Newton Trust offers Strategic, Research Project, Emergency Bridging and Fellowship Support Grants.

Judge Business School Enterprise Tech For Researchers interested in exploring entrepreneurship, or considering an innovative idea that they want to turn into a successful business.

Large Grant Contibutions Fund (LGCF) has been established under the stewardship of the Research Policy Committee (RPC) to encourage and support large collaborative research applications and maximise the University’s outward facing impact.

Office for Translational Research Supports researchers in securing translational funding. They can help you to decide the most appropriate funding scheme for your project with the best chances of success, whether funding is available from the University of Cambridge internal calls such as Cambridge MRC Confidence in Concept, from larger translational schemes (charities, MRC DPFS, NIHR i4i, InnovateUK) or from industry sources. 

PdOC for Entrepreneurs Email contact@pdoc.cam.ac.uk to meet with the PdOC’s entrepreneurial officer for an informal chat to learn about the different SME-related resources within and beyond Cambridge’s ecosystem.

Postgraduate Study Funding  University Postgraduate funding website, also includes information relating to College funding.

Public Engagement Starter Fund £2,000 fund supports novel projects based on contemporary research.

Research Strategy Office - Internal funding opportunities and support are offered for the development of new, interdisciplinary projects through Early Career Research Grants and Internships.
