In addition to Cambridge Cardiovascular the University funds several other Interdisciplinary Research Centres and Strategic Research initiatives (IRC's) which can sometimes be sources of funding for interdisciplinary activities such as events or visits, as well as offering advice. For example:

Cambridge Centre for Data-Driven Discovery (C2D2) practical and financial help available for Interdisciplinary Research Centres (IRC's) in writing up large cross-departmental funding proposals.

Cambridge Public Health  Based in the School of Technology, CPH is an umbrella organisation for more than 600 researchers and professionals working on public health issues.

Engineering Biology in Cambridge brings together and supports researchers working across disciplines - at the intersections of biology, engineering, computer sciences, design and bioethics.

Cambridge Gravity - Bio-Spark a gateway into industry and start-up formation. It is a fellowship programme that provides internships at Pharma, Biotech or Venture partners.
