I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Chemical Engineering & Biotechnology, working on computational modelling of cardiovascular mechanics.

The overarching aim of my research is to carry out computational investigations of cardiovascular flow and to improve our understanding of cardiac disease and its response to treatment. I aim to improve clinical outcomes by employing bioengineering principles using computational tools.

My research is focused on using computational modelling to improve understanding of cardiovascular and neurovscular diseases and develop/optimise medical devices used in the treatment of these diseases. More specifically, I work on projects involving prosthetic heart valves for surgical or transcatheter procedures, stents and grafts.
