CardioStars is the British Heart Foundation and Panacea’s research translation and commercialisation initiative. This unique scheme helps scientists and clinicians take their discoveries and turn them into products that can make a difference to patients.
Participation is funded by the BHF and is offered free of charge to attendees. One or more individuals from a lab or research group may take part, and there are no requirements as to the seniority or professional background of the attendees.
Action is an entry-level initiative for those with little or no experience of research translation or commercialisation. Participants don’t need a specific project or idea to take part, only enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. The centrepiece of Action is a one day bootcamp on June 20 2025 in London.
