The Crick Innovation Challenge, hosted by the Crick Science Entrepreneur Network (CSEN) x Founders at the University of Cambridge, is a 5-day hackathon-style programme for early-career scientists across the UK who are curious about entrepreneurship and want to explore how their research can create real-world impact.
The programme welcomes MSc students, PhD candidates, postdocs, and research staff from any scientific discipline. No prior experience, startup idea, or team is needed — just curiosity and enthusiasm!.
Participants will:
- Join multidisciplinary teams to solve real biomedical challenges
- Take part in expert-led panels, ideation workshops, and hands-on venture training (pitching, IP, team building and more)
- Build entrepreneurial skills and networks that last beyond the event
- Receive invaluable feedback from industry experts.
