MR image analysis of small vessel disease in particular and stroke in general. The application of advanced MR imaging techniques to subjects with these conditions to understand the pathogenesis and development of the condition. Current projects include using MR based measures of permeability and PET markers of inflammation to predict lesion formation and using network analysis to predict cognitive decline and conversion to dementia.
