As the Cambridge Cardiovascular Research Coordinator, my role focuses on supporting the interdisciplinary cardiovascular research community. I work closely with academics from the University and beyond, organizing workshops and seminars, facilitating collaborations, and promoting external interactions. Additionally, I manage communications, public engagement, and oversee the website and social media channels.

Ana studies heart function and development of heart disease, such as heart failure on a molecular and cellular level. As someone who exercises daily, she has long been fascinated by the effects of exercise and diet on heart health and development of cardiometabolic diseases. She is funded by Cambridge BHF Centre of Research Excellence. 

BHF funded PhD student working on stroke ischaemia/reperfusion injury with the Krieg and Murphy labs. Passionate about developing novel therapeutics and translational medicine.
