Biomarkers for the prediction of incident heart failure

During my research fellowship I have been investigating the association between biomarkers including high sensitivity troponin and NT-pro BNP (brain natriuretic peptide) with incident heart failure in the general population and in high-risk groups using literature-based meta-analysis and individual participant data from the Natriuretic Peptides Studies Collaboration. I am also studying for MPhil in Epidemiology.
